Darryl Worley puts the "traditional" back in new traditional country music. His earthy songs are marinated in warm old tones. Worley is an actual "son of a preacher man." His father left behind a lucrative job at a paper mill to preach the good book. Before singing country, Worley was pursuing a biology degree with an organic chemistry minor. He also ran a moonshine still. Worley is so dedicated to his music that he allegedly called off a wedding engagement upon facing a fianc??A?'s harsh ultimatum. In 2002, Worley visited troops abroad and was so moved that he dedicated 2003's "Have You Forgotten" to our troops in Iraq.
