Comedian Denis Leary was born to Irish immigrants in Worchester, Mass. Being funny runs in Denis' family: his cousin is Conan O'Brien. Leary became a household name when MTV starting running his rants as promos for shows such as "House of Style." A longtime friendship with Bill Hicks ended due to a plagiarism dispute. Hick's said Leary stole his punch lines. Smoking, ranting, sneering, jive-talking -- Dennis Leary is that guy at the bar, with a mic in the spotlight.
