Alt rockers Semisonic's "Closing Time" became the official "last-call" song sung at the end of each Saturday night. Semisonic's "One True Love" (from the album "All About Chemistry) was co-written by the legendary Carole King. Semisonic formed out of the ashes of John Munson and Dan Wilson's former band, Trip Shakespeare. Semisonic's "Secret Smile" managed to peak at No. 13 in the U.K. Pop Charts. In England, they a "two-hit wonder" band. Semisonic's version of "Jet" can be found on the Paul McCartney tribute CD, "Listen to What the Man Said."
