The Choir has performed at five American presidential inaugurations and 13 world's fair ceremonies.
Five of the choir's recordings have earned them gold records and two albums have garnered platinum record status.
The MTC was formed in 1847, making it the world's longest established choral group -- and the most popular.
They currently have 360 volunteer members who perform every Sunday morning on the "Music and the Spoken Word" radio show.
