Weezer have managed to stun the masses with word that their October 27th album will be titled Raditude. It’s like radical, with an attitude. Since 50 percent of their previous releases have been self-titled and color-coded, it’s a welcome change of pace — and as far as our dictionary tells us, a brand new word.
As Kanye West once said, it’s awes-mazing, but Raditude is also awes-diculous, just like the words “bromance” and “staycation.” Still, this isn’t the first time an artist has stepped outside of Webster’s when it came time to name their album. Rock Daily went prowling through our iPods to find the zaniest, not-of-this-language album titles in the history of rock. Check out our fully categorized sampling of confusing album titles, and feel free to leave some of your favorites down in the comments section.
